Driving Into NASCAR: StubHub Partners with Garrett Smithley Ahead of the Homestead-Miami Finale

For more than a decade, Garrett Smithley has built his NASCAR career one opportunity at a time. He’s competed across the sport’s national series, raced for multiple teams and has become a familiar presence in a community where persistence matters just as much as what happens behind the wheel.

Now, StubHub is joining him for the next lap.

On November 7, StubHub will make its NASCAR debut alongside Smithley and SS GreenLight Racing/BRK Racing at the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

It marks StubHub’s first partnership in NASCAR and the latest expansion of the company’s growing presence across motorsports — bringing the brand to the track while creating new experiences that bring fans closer to the sport they love.

Bringing StubHub to the Track

When Smithley arrives at Homestead-Miami, he’ll do so in a new StubHub-branded car livery and driver suit created specifically for the season finale, marking StubHub’s first appearance on the track in NASCAR.

“Motorsports continues to be an exciting area of growth for StubHub, and NASCAR represents an incredible community of passionate fans,” said Shaun Stewart, VP of Open Distribution at StubHub. “Garrett has built his career through persistence and a genuine connection to the racing community, making him an ideal partner as we bring StubHub to NASCAR for the first time.”

Smithley is equally excited about what the partnership means heading into Homestead-Miami.

“I’ve spent my career working for every opportunity to get behind the wheel, so having a brand like StubHub come on board for Homestead is incredibly exciting,” Smithley said. “NASCAR fans are some of the most passionate fans in sports, and I’m looking forward to representing StubHub on the track and creating some memorable experiences with fans throughout race weekend.”

Those experiences will extend beyond the car itself. On race day, StubHub will surprise a select group of fans at Homestead-Miami Speedway with garage access and ticket upgrades, offering a chance to get closer to the teams, cars and action that make a NASCAR weekend unlike anything else in sports.

Another Step in StubHub’s Growing Motorsports Presence

StubHub’s NASCAR debut builds on a growing motorsports portfolio that already includes partnerships with BWT Alpine Formula One Team, World Racing Group and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Together, these partnerships are expanding StubHub’s presence across racing and creating new ways for fans to experience the sport live.

With NASCAR now part of that footprint, StubHub is continuing to deepen its connections across motorsports and the passionate communities that surround it.

Expanding Access Through Open Distribution

Behind that growth is StubHub’s expanding Open Distribution model, which gives rights-holders across live sports and entertainment another way to reach StubHub’s global fan base. As more motorsports properties become part of that network, StubHub can help make their events more accessible to fans around the world.

Tickets for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 7 are available now on StubHub.
